  Good food, adaptable service, great location.
  
  Loxley's does some great food, but the biggest draw is how adaptable they are around the theatre times. You are in town for the theatre, right?
  
  It can get very busy at peak times, so you will need to book. The staff are very friendly, and the wine selection is great. What else do you need?

  Lovely restaurant. Nice staff and beautiful food. There were lots of us and we are quite loud but weren't ever made to feel uncomfortable.

  You couldn't fault the staff or the atmosphere, when we visited Loxleys recently, but you ultimately come to a restaurant for the quality and value of the food and, on the basis of our experience, this place is sadly lacking in both those departments, I'm afraid.
  
  If you pay the best part of £25 for a steak, you expect to be able to see it with the human eye and not need a microscope and if you pay for a £20 bottle of wine, then you know it's only going to be what you could buy in a supermarket for less than £10, but it should at least be pleasant to drink, not as rough as old boots. Nearly £170 for a meal for four people with one person drinking virtually nothing at all and two people not having a pudding. Rip off, I'm afraid.
  
  Lambs and The Oppo are just a couple of doors away from Loxleys - I know where I will be going next time.
